I learned to sew about the time this picture was taken, maybe a few years before.  Since then, I stopped sewing, started working, and figured out how to cut my bangs in a straight line.  About ten years ago I started sewing again.  Along the way I discovered machine embroidery and digitizing, and Thread Lightly was born.  Little did I know that my entire focus would change to creating art quilts within a few years.  Luckily, the name still fits my new passion.

I’ve lived in Colorado most of my life and in the Denver area for the last 20+ years.  I’m not a big fan of the winters here, but I can’t convince my family to move anywhere else right now.  My favorite place in the U.S. has to be anywhere along either coast of Florida.
